The research was conducted under the auspices of the Social Risk Mitigating Project (SRMP) financed by the World Bank so as to develop SHÇEK’s capabilities in policy research, monitoring and assessment. Two quantitative studies were carried out:
· A census survey: Interviews with 550 foster family children and respective foster families
· Sample surveys: A total of 5000 intervews with pre-teens and teens in SHÇEK’s boarding institutions, present or past beneficiaries of SHÇEK’s Child and
More than 100 in-depth interviews and 6 focus group meetings were held preceding the quantitative study and afterwards.
